Subscriber Frequently Asked Questions

Subscriptions are on sale now. Purchase your subscription before May 14 to guarantee your seats selection for all performances. You can still purchase a subscription until October 2, 2024 but it is subject to availability. Choose Your Own Four packages and subscriber add-ons will be available May 14 at 10am; and single tickets will be available May 28 at 10am.

Head to dancehouse.ca/subscribe.  If you would like to look at the venue maps, you will find them at the bottom of the page. Click Buy New Subscription on our Subscribe page. Choose either Friday or Saturday subscription, price tier and number of subscriptions, then proceed to choose the subscription type: regular subscription or senior subscription (65+), click Add to Cart and check out. 

If you have not already signed in, you will be prompted to login or create a DanceHouse account. If you have purchased a ticket for DanceHouse in the past you will already have an account set up (tip: use the email that receives the newsletter and performance reminders). If you haven’t logged in before or forget your password, click reset password? and follow the steps. Once logged in, you will be redirected to your cart where you will be able to add your payment. Click the cart icon at the top right of the page if you accidentally end up on a different part of the site. 

If you accidentally remove performances you want from the cart, please remove all performances to clear the cart and restart again. If you are having trouble, contact boxoffice@dancehouse.ca or 604.801.6225 (M-F, 10-4).

After adding your season subscription to the cart (see How do I renew online? above), check off the box next to the ticket(s) of Le Patin Libre at Kerrisdale Cyclone Taylor Arena and click Remove. If you are purchasing a new subscription over the phone, let us know you would like to take the optional performance out of your subscription and we’ll take care of the rest.

You are most welcome to and we thank you for your kind contribution! After adding your subscription in the cart, click Add a donation. It will take you to the donation page. Enter your chosen amount, choose “Spring Forward” under Campaign and click Add donation. Your donation will be added to your cart along with your subscription.

As a perk of subscribing, you will receive 15% off additional tickets! If you have renewed your subscription, you will be able to purchase additional tickets beginning May 14 at 10am. When purchasing tickets online your ticket discount will be automatically applied at check out if you are logged into the account you used for the subscription. If you’d like to move your subscription seat to sit next to your guest, contact the box office. 

If you have renewed your subscription online or over the phone. Your friend can then purchase a subscription in the same tier and choose their seating now. We will try our best to sit them beside you though it may be necessary to move your subscription seat in order to accommodate the request.

If you have renewed your subscription, you will be able to exchange tickets from one matinee or evening performance of the presentation to another matinee or evening performance of the same presentation after May 14. If you can’t make any of the performances you can donate the tickets that you can’t use back to DanceHouse and receive a tax receipt for your donation.

In the event that a presentation needs to be rescheduled or cancelled by DanceHouse, purchasers will be given the option to receive a full refund or donate their ticket. Read our full refund policy at dancehouse.ca/policies.
