Join us for an evening of dance, connection, and community—no experience required! Whether you’re an experienced dancer or curious to try tango for the first time, all are welcome at the Community Milonga (tango dance party).
A milonga is a social dance gathering rooted in Argentine Tango and is celebrated as a lively, inclusive space where dancers of every level come together to share music, movement, and culture.
The evening will be hosted by StevenJoannaTango and will begin with a beginners’ tango workshop led by Nadia Tavakli and Joanna Kwan. The DJ for the evening will be Steven Chu.
The Community Milonga is part of Vancouver Latin American Cultural Centre’s Latin Expressions series, celebrating Latin American artistry during Latin American Heritage Month in October.
